Image (filename) ignoring Extensions to allow field

Hi,

I have an Image (filename) field on a form that I want to display photos.
I tried restricting the extensions to allow to be ‘jpg;jpeg;gif;bmp’ and when I tested the application, and clicked on Browse it showed ‘All Files (.)’ in the drop down and that was the only selection available. All files were being displayed for selection.
I reduced it to just ‘jpg’ files and tried again and it still showed all files.

I’m using version 8.1.030

Is anyone else having issues with this?

I have a similar question however with Data Type Document using SC version 9.4.010. Setting Extensions to allow to xls;xlsx;csv. It does not appear to filter/limit to those file types, however, you do get an error message after file selection. Does anybody know of a work-around all not allowed extensions are grayed out?
