Image management....

Ok, i looked through the image library example, but its all in another language and its gets confusing.

Here is what I’m trying to do:

I’ve got a form, then on a tab. On that tab I put a master/detail grid. I have a grid with ONE single record in that will show thumbnails
of pics for that particular ticket No.

ticket no – image name – image description – image (clickable to a thumbnail that will show ALL images attached to that ticket the it will viewing , deleting, or selection)

Kinda like the image album grid on the image example. I almost have it but the language thing has got me screwed up.

So basically all I’m looking for is one record, with a link to show a thumbnail gallery attached to one ticket. With the ability to view, delete or select.

I’ve been dealing with this all day, and finally gave up.

This language thing on the help examples has really go into my head. I can’t see the forest for the trees…

thanks…

Is SC just someone’s hobby?

I continue working on my app, while trying to figure out what is going on with the images. I run across another problem, research it
and it appears that it was reported in 2012 as far as I can tell there is still no resolution. Just a “reported to the bug team” message in 2012.
With many “is it fixed yet” responses behind it.

Maybe I chose the wrong product. No wait. I’m sure I chose the wrong product.

Netmake is this your hobby? please let me know, I need to make a living and your support, presentation and documentation are a disaster. If it is a hobby, no hard feelings I will
move on to something else but please do not waste any more of my time on a product that is supposed to save you time (which it definitely has NOT). If this is
not your hobby, then speaking as a client I would fire you on the spot. GET YOUR ###### ACT TOGETHER!

Whoever your management team is should be fired first, then bring in people who actually care (and THAT CAN SPEAK AND WRITE ENGLISH!)

BTW…The image example is not useful for those of us who are only English speaking. All of your notes, field names, file names, and error codes look like gibberish to me.

If you are going to promote a product to an English speaking community, then pull your product until you can read and write English. Simple as that.

Windows photo gallery does pretty well.
