Import CSV, EXCEL

IN SC V 6 IS THERE AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPORT FROM Excel or CSV?

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

Yes that would be something I need …
also:
Master / detail links in Control Applications
sc_refresh_xxxx - Macro to load new
SQL = xxxx - reload the SQL query (without onScriptINIT ect.)
xxxx = app - reload the entire application
sc_include_jquery - load of jquerries

PHPProcedures (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) - Adding to Procedures

Last but not least:
a connection to a more professional report generator (look at www.stimulsoft.com times over)

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

hi guys when sc6 tobe release?

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

Are Admins watching these?

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

It is best if you guys send those suggestions to our suggestions email (suggestion@scriptcase.net). By doing so, someone of our development or support team will read any suggestions sent and choose the most suitable ones.

@masbro, There is no official date release. But it should be out within a couple months.

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

@bartho: so what is the goal of the “suggestions” forum?

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

@Freezer, I meant it would be better as a reassurance, because many clients want that feature.

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

just curious to know if this suggestion is in the Agenda for SC6 or future releases?

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

I need a button in SC which will allow me to import all accounting data into my SC project. Make sure it works the way I want!

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

Arthur, how would NetMake know what YOUR account data is??? That is something, as a developer, you should be doing. SC isn’t an accounting package, it is for developing apps of all makes. Again, You state “Make sure it works the way I want”… where is the PLEASE in there??? Wow… I’m glad you are NOT my customer. I would have refunded your money and said go find another product.

Re: Import CSV, EXCEL

OK, it was a joke! Of course it would never happen, but IMPORT FROM CSV would be very important feature to have in the toolbox.
