Importing application

Hello,

I have a problem with importing an application to SC v9. Our company gave an assignment for developer candidates to make an application in SC v9 demo version but at the moment I seem to have a problem with importing that application to the licensed SC v9. Error message is following: The file was not generated with Scriptcase version 9.

Is it generally impossible to import applications from demo versions or is it some kind of a bug at the moment?

There are different ways to export an application, could it be that you have used the wrong import?

I have .tar.gz file and also .zip file of the application and I am trying to import it from inside of the project at Application -> Import Applications. Also Importing it as a whole project gave me the same error aka The file was not generated with Scriptcase version 9.

What I mean is that if you export your project with file->export you must import using file->import. If you import by project -> import applications you will get an error like above. Don’t mean to nag, but this is a common mistake.
