Importing exported project - Just information for anyone having the problem

Just in case it helps.

We use a Chromebook backed on to a grunty Linux box for development. Great combination. We notice that the following sequence doesn’t work

  • File -> Export Project
  • Save to local chromebook drive or to google drive (doesn't matter)
  • File -> Import Project
  • [SIZE=11px]The file was not generated with Scriptcase version 8.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11px][SIZE=12px]But if we do this entirely with the Linux machine (remoted from the chromebook) it works fine Don't know why but the information might help someone[/SIZE][/SIZE]

SC version? This is a long time issue just failing in some concrete situations.
