I don’t have experience with cache modules. I would like to know if somebody here used something like this , and can share experiences and if something must be taken in consideration to configure it.

Cache is synonym with trouble. It might increase your performance, but re-deploy needs manual action to delete cache. The webserver is caching, your browser. Do you really have a performance issue?
I will profile it, but yes, there are some “simple” pages, loads instantly on the same machine, and about 4 or 5 seconds in LAN. I don’t want to think about WAN
I use APC. Feel much faster.
