I tried several times (SC8 + F-fox), same result, so is it my browser goofing up or we testing different SC versions ?

Me Firefox, SC8, server in localhost. Always happen to you? Is an automated installation or a manual installation of SC?

same happened to me then I realized that my session on sc expired after innactivity(mine expires in 30 minutes) so I logged in again and all worked fine(using chrome here).

I guess this is the browser problem, it works fine in Chrome.
