Is anyone using the tool of gantt chart for grids?

I started using the Gantt tool grids, but it is such a limited tool is virtually unusable

I have raised the following concerns:

  1. Can I display the information in days or weeks rather than months?

  2. Can I choose a task to edit?

3 Can I show task dependency?
