Is Scriptcase Dead software?

The silence from them is unnerving.

hmmm I don’t think so… I think they are waiting for Black Friday to release to us the new update

I don’t think that would be a good strategy IMHO. Then we get only informed once a year?

I entirely agree with you!!

not once a year but every six months - roughly that would be from May to November / however I don’t think this is because even now those who want to purchase can do so with a 30% discount - now that it’s 30% now or 40% in November…

Pricing of SC has been increased a lot in only a few years. I used to pay less than 100$ a year; now it is much, much higher. But with high prices, you can give high discounts. So nobody is buying outside of black Friday. They spoil their own market that way. Communication of the organization is always been a point of worries, since the day I found the product (over 10 years ago). That is not likely to change.

The new released was announced back in May and still waiting… a bit worrying

This webinar was over a month ago. A new one is on its way. But are we really waiting for new whistles and bells, or …?

May be this time they are taking serious testing tasks to avoid a lot of bugs. It’s just an expression of desire. LOL

As we used to say here in Brazil… “more of the same”.

Esta engraçado… (But I agree)

It seems Scriptcase has come back to life—we all received a sign with version 9.11.000. I’m going to update and hope everything is okay. I still believe they tested it well before releasing it for use (I hope). :grimacing:

Just saw this. Dev team was crunching for the past 5~6 months. It is interesting to see how different were the feeling out here.

Some of the features introduced in this update took longer than expected to be finished. That also meant test team had a surplus of time to square things out. As I see, this release was very solid and I, for one, am very proud of the result.

The entire team worked hard and did a wonderful job. There are still some patching to do in some areas, but that’s everyday’s work.

I’ve been absent from the forum for a while, but I’ll try to come here every now and then to drop some sneak peaks of what we are working on (if marketing don’t scold me for doing so).

Hope you guys enjoy this update! Thank you all!

@Henrique_Barros Great to know, that we have a Menu expert supporting all new questions in a short time. I can´t believe it. Congrats SC. This whole community deserves it.
