good day guys, just wanna ask if there’s an equivalent for CRYSTAL REPORT in scriptcase… I need something like report viewer wherein u can pass parameter to the report. in addition, im using mysql. thanks.
No. You can create pdf’s which are based on database data where you can have calculated fields etc. But not as rich as CR.
I think there is an option

If there was an equivalent to crystal reports … that would be great
Sorry for replying on old thread.
Is Crystal Report (or something equivalent) exist in SC7? if not SC8?
Thanks

wonder why SC doesn’t provide any tutorial using iReport or make some awesome report generator instead of configure the X, Y coordinates via PHP code
Sorry, link is here http://www.scriptcase.net/forum/showthread.php?2329-Nice-lookin-reports&p=8799&viewfull=1#post8799 but you have it otherwise 4 messages above this.

Maybe they don’t do a tutorial about integrating with iReport, for the same reason they don’t do a tutorial integrating with BIRT Report.
Because BIRT and iReport are external tools, and it’s done with an external library (PHPJasperXML) outside SC. On SC V8 you can position fields with drag&drop AFAIR.
