I have a problem concerning the need of JRE on the server to create pdf reports.
Is there an integrated work around NOT to use jre, or does a way exist that the jre
from an external server can be used?
The problem is, that our ISP will not allow to install JRE for security reasons …

Yes, many ISPs do not like to have JRE/JAVA on their shared servers.
I am not sure why JRE is required to output PDF in SC. I see they use a fork of FPDF to create the files?
Perhaps you could look at TCPDF and create your own reports?

As mentioned, you may have to contact support and ask them how things work … and why they require JRE on production.
