Over the past few months, I have been asked about the type of applications we create using ScriptCase. Although this is still Work in Progress, here is a preview of our latest venture:

It is basically Client Asset Portfolio Manager that performs live online price updates for each client.

It is a complete re-write of our Win32 version of Trackfolio

As mentioned, this is still in development … but I thought I would share with everyone.

Hi Scott,

I’m pleased that we have two applications up and running for our office. One is our internal service booking diary, which we are currently running on a secure server. Haven’t sorted out a meaningful way to introduce application level security into the project.

The other is a public service display, which really is only a simple grid. Not impressive but very useful. It’s running in a joomla wrapper at the moment.

Currently we’re working on extending the service booking diary so customers can use it to manage their own service bookings. However, that means providing a more flexible security layer. I suspect I will go back to PHPrunner to do that, simply because it makes security a doddle.

We’re disappointed that we had to remove the calendar from the project. It is too risky to use in a time critical application.
