Launching scriptcase (Windows 10)

Hi all,

I use scriptcase on a Windows 10 machine, but when I open it (by means of http://127.0.0.1:8081/scriptcase), sometimes it “hangs” forever, sometimes it hangs for several minutes, and sometimes responds quite normal.

However, once I get the logindialog, I can logon to my scriptcase environment and from than on everything works fine.

Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong on my machine?
I already de-activated Windows defender, the firewall (and there are no other antivirus-programs installed).

Xamp is installed, but not running.
MySQL is installed locally.

any help or tip appreciated.

regards
Glenn

Cannot be sure, but a few options: sc will validate your licence now and then. That does takes time sometimes (too long imho). Sometimes apache builds up a lot of processes. If you have uses sc before it could be that apache is still in some locking situation. Useually bound to the used sqlite database which holds your project definition. But I reported this to sc and it’s hard to tell.

well, i had this after re-installing the windows on my machine, it was annoying as it was also sometimes (most of the times) forcing me to re-login again and again in a loop

did you have earlier versions and you migrated?

do you have anything from old version of SC on the same machine, becasue i kept my previous version and made me some trubles with zendloader

check the zendloder line in php.ini of scriptcase, it was duplicated for me and there was another line pointing to my other old installation!!! don’t know how but when removing/commenting it things went better

also xampp should not make any confuse, it is different installation of server components using different ports, it should be okay, same for mysql which usually comes with xampp… i found out that is better to make xampp working when using the SC as when generating the applications it will check the connection and gives error if mysql of xampp was not running…

one last thing, if this is annoying, you can try sending them from the main site approach the support team, give as much info as you can, they are turtle slow but they respons

cheers

I have windows 10, With Chrome i have same error (sometimes it “hangs” forever, sometimes it hangs for several minutes, and sometimes responds quite normal.), But with Mozilla, SC open fast.

This started to happen with me also about 3 weeks ago. I’m using Win10 and Chrome. It started after I believe a windows update but not sure if that is what caused it. I have tried several things nothing has helped.

hello,

can you guys try this:

open your scriptcase installation folder > componenets > php and find php.ini

check:

[zend]
;zend_loader.obfuscation_level_support=3
zend_extension=“C:/sc8\components\php\ZendLoader.dll”
;zend_extension=“C:/sc8_old\components\php\ext\php_opcache.dll”

second line which is disabled, was previously enabled for me, it was added along with the new instllation, i kept only one and things back to normal… that was the advice of the support team of SC via email… see if you have more than one line active for the loader

sorry i have the same problem and i have this in my php.ini (SC8.1.0.66 last one)

[zend]
;zend_loader.obfuscation_level_support=3
zend_extension=“C:/Program Files (x86)/NetMake/v81\components\php\ZendLoader.dll”
zend_extension=“C:/Program Files (x86)/NetMake/v81\components\php\ext\php_opcache.dll”

which one should i keep enabled?

Thanks

p.s.

also for me in firefox i have no problems, only with chrome

why you don’t try one by one?
i think you have different issue if only Chrome does this!! try removing the cache or something

hi.

already tried cache and such…

now i have commented this on line 2300 of php.ini

;zend_extension=“C:/Program Files (x86)/NetMake/v81\components\php\ext\php_opcache.dll”

it seems to me that startup is faster.

now it takes 1-1.5 minutes vs 5-7 minutes before commenting that line

Thanks

there is something worng definetely.

now it hangs forever after login (chorme)

what is it?
Firefox loads ait it shoul be (fast) anyone experienced this behaviour?

i also thinking to uninstall windows defender but i already set an exception for all the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\NetMake
Thanks

yes i remember happens to me too, it was hanging for a while, then got stable, later wasn’t login, keept the login screen comes over and over, it was around the first of windows 10 upgrade, also let me suggest a clean installation with new license.

i recently did it (meaning SC; about 2 weeks ago). Right after new installation the first start up was ok, but soon again it showed this problem again.
Thanks

then suggesting to give full details to netMake let them investigate, something is wrong at your end, create a support ticket and follow it up, they are slow but they will finally do their part
