instead of separate buttons for link to the edit form in a select field you can implement this feature,
the button take the text of the label and replace it.

The sample is made in Visual Studio .NET and I send this suggestion to scriptcase team to implement this “save space” feature.
this “save” the aditional space added by the “Edit” button when a “Link” is setting in a form “select” field, is a good idea that these “Edit” button replace the field label space with the same text content but the same action (redir to the form to edit).
