I have master record and a detail record
The detail uses global variables from
The master when the master is saved
When I try and delete the master record
I am getting an error concerning these variables
Even when there is no detail records
Any ideas?

Difficult to say without more info regarding the errormessage. Some possiblities: referential integrity problems, globalvar set to input.

If i Try and delete the record whether it has detail records or not I get
The following global variables are missing: CATEGORY; FACILITY; LAB_YEAR_DATA

Am not using detail to master…
The global variables are save in the master record and used to determine what records to select in the detail.
But when you try and delete the master after deleting the all the detail, it gives the error on the global variables.
I dont know how to delete the master records
