Master / Details form..! Magic..?

Hi,

I am trying to create Master/ details form in SC V5. The master and detail form is linked with the Primary / Foriegn key properly. The as i create New record in the Master area and after save, again the Insert button is visible, and the details is not shows New button to enter details for the master record.

The sample provided in the Training project (form_orders / form_order_details) is working fine. I walked through the entire code and there is no events or no mentods called… ! How does it works…? Magic…?

How to Create Link Master / Details forms using Forms application and What makes Deatails enabled after the master Record is inserted successfully

Any one can help me on this…!

Ohh,! the Magic revealed…!

I wonder…! the documentation and Training (Help) PDF doens’t mentioned about this…!

Toolbar --> Options -Select Return After Inserting

Wasted about 1 day…!

so what was your problem??? when you created a new record, it went to insert mode? and you wanted to view the record(s)??
