Hi - I created a menu item that points to an external file, but when i generate the source this menu item does not appear… is this possible to do? If so, how?

My file sits in e.g. http://someserver/myfile.php
Some people access “someserver” by typing localhost (since it is their machine) and others by typing someserver (because it is remote for them) …
How do I make this link work in both cases?
