Migration of scriptcase to new server

Hello,
I have scriptcase installed on Debian 9 x64 .
I tried to update Scriptcase form version 9.1.0001 to 9.1.0009, and the system failed.
After debugging, I discovered file system went read only , due to some failed inodes.
So I restored server to its original state, and tried to performa manual update. But again , the filesystem got corrupted.
When I restart the server, I login , and the system interface does not show up correctyl. So the application server is gone .

I have backup of both system and projects.
Is it supported to migrate current projects to a new installation of scriptcase ?
Does it work ? Before to reqeust a license migration, I would like to be sure of that.

Thank you
Federico

As I know you can’t import projects to an unregistered version of SC. There should be no problems to update from 9.1.001 to 009. If 9.1.001 works than the upgrade should work too.
I always do only manual updates. What really helps on your server are shellinabox and midnight commander.
My update procedure from my Win PC is as follows:

  1. remote login on your linux server with shellinabox and change into your html root (or whereever your SC is)
  2. create a new dir for your update files (e.g. sc9.1.009)
  3. go to SC website - downloads and click download the tar.gz version. When save window appears abort it and right click on the link “if download does not start click here” and save the link address.
  4. change to shellinabox go to your new created update dir, right click “paste from browser” and insert link from download website.
  5. After download is complete open midnight commander in shellinabox, change to the downloaded file press f2 and select extract tar file
  6. After uncompressing copy the downloaded files with f5 in midnight commander over your SC installation folder

That works for me for years
