Modal not working in Master/Detail - BUG NOT FIXED AFTER MONTHS OF WAITING

Here is a form with Mater/Detail records. There are several tabs at the bottom. All of them are Editable Grids. One of the grids has a lookup button (to select employees from the list).
When I set it up as MODAL it does not open properly. It opens withing the detail frame (so only part of it is visible). When I set it up without MODEL attribute it opens up in a full screen making underlying App invisible and making confusion for the user.

There is not exit from this screen (as the ESC is not working and the toolbar is not accessible). Dead End.

I HAVE REPORTED THIS ISSUE OVER A YEAR AGO !
The forum admin has posted “it has been reported to the development team”

YEAR LATER SAME BUG EXISTS !
How should we not complain ?

I have the same problem !!

I only use same Grid and some Form, all other APP i replaced with Blank, are too many problems that SC8, soon i will post a lengthy
topic but along with all the problems we encountered with SC8, some very serious.

Other problems caused by the fact that SC8 works almost exclusively in iframe.

For the mobile version then the problems are multiplied greatly.

Last year i made a big error to use SC8 for a big project, arrived at '80% of the project i agree that there are too many problems and for the mobile version
is a disaster.

I had to work another 4 months with another development system retrieves all the App that had issues.

Eearly report problems to Netmake then i got bored, i can not always wait for Netmake systems problems that sometimes are also stupid.

I think many parts of SC8 have not been tested, or when tested with a lot of superficiality.

Another thing I would add, I have not bought SC8 to do the beta testers, but rather had purchased SC8 for the development of Web applications

Agree 100%. What is the worst is the attitude to get more customers by advertising not by making the product better (at least by fixing the bugs) and there are tons of them.
I doubt that NetMake is reading those forum posts or would be responsive enough to react and make some changes in the development. At this point I’m almost where you were. I’m about half way of big project and if I could would switch to a different development platform. Unbfortunately it already took to much time end energy to get where I am so like it or not need to continue, although my next project might not be with SC.

BTW - can you share what other too you used ?

This problem has been reported to our development team.

John - you (or whoever replied to the first post) have made the same statement several months ago ! This is totally frustrating that you keep saying the same thing over and THE BUGS ARE NOT FIXED FOR MONTHS (or in many cases I should say years) ! You developers need to pay more attention to details and be more consistent.

this sounds like you just bought a car on-line or Ebay and your car has 4 different tires which you haven’t noticed. You go to the dealer or manufacturer and ask for help., then they say: “you have tools in your trunk, just take them and replace whatever you need to replace”
