I just created list of Apps using SC report feature. Nice, but… whoever created this feature seems to be lacking of some common sense. WHY ?
Because I can only view it ! So it really makes no much difference viewing the list in the main HOME screen or viewing it in the report. Yes I can sort it select columns etc, but no way to PRINT or SAVE ?

Can’t you guys get it please once and forever that REPORT is something to print. That’s what it is for, and that’s the term which I uses since DOS-v2.1
So , please ADD PRINT,SAVE feature !!! it should be quite easy - right?

Now, think for a minute. If I give you ma project and ask you to open a DIAGRAM - your eyes would be shocked. That’s because with 250+ Apps your VERTICAL diagram is completely USELESS !
It might be only useful for something super simple (say less than 10-12 Apps). So think again before you implement something ! You guys seem to have a tendency to add stuff to SC to create and impression that it is filled with features, while lots of it is simply CRAP!
REMEMBER - the more options on the menu, the more checkmarks, dropdowns, etc does not make the software better. It only does when those options work and have no bugs. You guys definitely FAIL on this part and need to change your course!

ONE MORE GENERAL ADVICE TO SC DEVELOPERS/DESIGNERS ?
When you work do yourself a favor and at least once a day think for a minute:

what is the purpose of what you doing/implementing, what the user would do with this ? how he/she will use it? is it efficient ? is is comfortable ? does it make sense ?
…and finally TEST IT, TEST IT, and test it…

did I say fix bugs? I hope I did

This 1st image is about 20% of vertical image for the project diagram. It would be quiteusefull if made in the vertical form, but in this format is is USELESS and unreadable.
I you you guys (NetMake) print a diagram with 300 Apps then make a quarter mile transparent to see how useless it is…

so, if you would like to make something that works do this:

  • divide it into sections

  • allow VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL generation

  • allow to setup distance among elements so the chart is readable (at present connections between Apps are covered with other Apps)

  • allow font sizing

We are trying a better approach and reworking the project diagram.
It will be way better when it is done, and will have some cool new features.

OK, thanks - I’m glad to hear that
