So, now I have project that works well enough in the development environment, but I can’t create the distribution package. Well, not from within the SC RAD, anyway. So, more stuffing about just to get the simple stuff done

Just on this topic, given that the SC GUI/RAD will not create a deployment package for me, how can I do this manually?

OK, having wasted most of the day on this I now see that SC’s deployment script has a hissy fit when there are many applications in a large project.

I broke the deployment into several archive packages, as in grids, forms, controls, lib etc…

That seems to have worked.

How many applications do you have in your project?

I have 1000+ in one single project and do not have the problem you are describing.

Sorry, missed your reply because I was busy re-writing the project in another environment.

Anyway, the project had ~80 applications, mostly grids and forms. Nothing fancy.
