The drag and drop Field Selection will work 1 time in 10 tries.
Columns selection in a grid app, dynamic group-by selection… Those.
It takes practice. A LOT of practice. And patience. Except practice doesn’t help much.
My customers will never accept this. Is there a way to use the old dual-list selection process?
I’ve been doing drag/drop interfaces for a living for decades and this implementation is the first one to make me want to stab the guy in the next office. Why? LOOK at him! He’s sitting there so smug, just dragging and dropping stuff all over his desktop and it works every time. I hate him!
