No solution from Bugs team !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

First of all, I’m sorry for sharing this email but I’m waiting a solution since 5 months !!!

The problem is that after converting my project from v8 to v9, in some form apps sc_redir does’nt work. The bug team has seen the problem with a copy of my project and also with a online teamviewer connection. :

I did some tests with the files you’ve sent to us (project and applications of both versions) and was able to replicate the behavior in my environment. However, please understand that it was a more complex issue, which only happens in some scenarios and we had to make sure of what was causing the bug. That was why it took a little bit more of time.

I’ve sent it to our developing team and they should fix it as quickly as possible.

Hi everyone, does anyone know anything about scriptcase? they all seem to be gone, they don’t answer anymore, I have a gold support contract and I don’t get answers.

It seems that they stopped working or they are waiting a financial deal. This is the last email I get and they says clearly what is it :

They just released an update with a long list of fixes.
No idea if they worked on your issue, but I wouldn’t say “they stopped working”

The bug in my project appeared 6 months ago !!! And probably it will solve with the last updates, I hope !!!

In my place I think everyone would think the same thing

My question is IF i can update my SC version 9.2 with the new Fixes??

I updated the last version and my bug seems solved !! After 6 months it’s amazing…

I suggest to make a complete backup before update your 9.2

Ok. i will do it.

I have 09.03.008. I can say from time to time an app would exhibit issues like yours. Couldn’t figure it out.

So here is what I did.

  1. I created a new application.
  2. I then placed comments in the Event code, “//” to isolate the area where the app was having issues.

This approach solved the problems.

It turned out that there were/could be a corrupt app OR a possible extra character causing the issues.

Files DO get corrupted now and then. To guard against issues be sure to do backups.
