I have 3 projects which will be under different domain names. I want to deploy to scriptcase host. It seems I have to pick ONE of the domain names to be the main domain and the others become add on domains. These 3 domains are not at all related. Does it matter which of the 3 is the main domain?
You will have to be a bit more specific. Where do you see the domains names being picked. As far as I know SC is not domain driven, but depends on the folder structure in which you place the SC generated code.
I always deploy locally under Xampp and then - after testing - I upload it to the hoster. I have several hosting packages (not SC) that host more domains. There is always one domain in the lead administrative wise, but usually the hoster has a root ‘domains’ and then your domain names. Under domain names you will find the regular folder structure for the webserver that is being used.
Back to your question, I would say no, it doesn’t matter.
Thank you. The documentation is a bit…lacking. I’ve always deployed on my own server where the setup is quite different and I can go in remote and work directly with virtual directories and such.
