As you can see from my previous post, I am having problems - so I did an update on my localhost and now I cannot connect to my database at all. I tried deleting the connection and creating a new one,
here is the problem I get
Unable to connect: Connection attempt failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No such file or directory
Urgent help would be appreciated.
Well I solved it (to a point) myself, no thanks to the people who own scriptcase! it was due to cloudflare caching and so I couldn’t go in and change the database host because it wouldn’t get that far! So I turned Cloudflare off and then was able to create a database connection.
Why have I only solved it to a point - well, I still cant permanently sort it to work with Cloudflare as I cannot save anything on any updated form etc that is uploaded when Cloudflare is active.Edit - sc_exec_sql still doesn’t work! Error: VM158:1 Uncaught ReferenceError: sc_btn_sc_btn_0 is not defined

Of course I could change the database server IP to the actual IP where the database is held, not the Cloudflare one… you’d think!! BUT I CANT! It wont accept any connection that is NOT Localhost! Its driving me NUTS!
I have to say though when I had this query I looked through all the other questions on this forum and most had ZERO answers given, except for the kindly expert or two.
It really is disgraceful that a site puts up a forum to supposedly help customers and then doesn’t bother to respond to any of them. Had I realised this before I purchased the software it would have put me off. I am not a database novice so I have some skill but frankly if I were a novice I would NEVER purchase a software that offered such appalling support for its forum.
