Please keep older versions of scriptcase on the site.

Scriptcase 8 Installation

Sometimes there are serious or smaller bugs in scriptcase. When people then do an update they can not roll back to an older version since the new one is only available on the downloads.
I would like to see that we can download all the older versions WITH a list of the new changes in that version.
This way someone can at least revert to an older version and doesnt need to keep every old version they downloaded somewhere.

Be aware I meant the subversions so 8.0.0031 and 8.0.0030 and 8.0.0029 … 7… 6… etc…!

The are still there:

http://downloads.scriptcase.com.br/downloads/v8/packs/scriptcase-8.0.034-en_us.tgz (Linux no installer)
http://downloads.scriptcase.com.br/downloads/v8/packs/scriptcase_install_en_us_v8.0.034.exe (Windows w/ installer)

etc.

are the current ones. To get the older version, just change the version number eg from 034 to 032 and go.

What ScriptCase needs is a rollback option.

Well rollback: you can export your applications and import after downgrading? It will take time if you have many projects. Not sure if a full export/import works…

Or imagine if the versioning system actually worked. Rollback of apps. Wouldn’t that be nice also?
