Possible BUG Date format changing-- DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!

FIRST, THIS FORM WAS WORKING FINE FOR MONTHS, NOW SCREWS UP EVERY TIME AND I HAVEN’T CHANGED ANYTHING! I CAN ONLY ASSUME IT WAS SOMETHING THAT OCCURRED DURING A RECENT VERSION UPDATE!

I HAVE A FORM (MULTI SUBMIT) WITH 4 FIELDS. RUN ID, DATE, ITEM_NUM, USER. THE DATE IS SET USING THE DEFINED VALUE SYSTEM DATE FOR INSERT AND UPDATE.

I USE THE “RUN_ID” AND “ITEM_NUM” AS A COMBINED PRIMARY KEY TO PREVENT DUPLICATE ENTRIES OF ITEM_NUM ON EACH RUN_ID.

INSERT WORKS FINE UNLESS THERE IS A PRIMARY KEY VIOLATION (DUPLICATE ITEM_NUM)- AND THE APPROPRIATE ERROR MESSAGE APPEARS “DUPLICATE ENTRY, PLEASE SELECT ANOTHER ITEM”-- THE PROBLEM IS, THE DATE FIELD IS NOW CHANGES AND IS UNFORMATTED( STARTS OUT AS 2017-01-01 THEN BECOMES SOMETHING LIKE '10-200 1,

AND PRODUCE AN INVALID FORMAT ERROR! THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS-- THERE IS NO EVENT CODE ON THE FORM, JUST USING THE DEFAULT SYSTEM DATE AND FORMAT.

HELP!!! I NEED THIS TO WORK, I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF! CUSTOMER IS WAITING!
