Problem importing projects

I am trying to import project (from somebody) which was build with SC v9.9 and I get error:

“To import the project, You must create the backup file through the menu File,
then Export Project. The backup and restore should be done using the same Scriptcase version.”

The Import > Convetr options apply only to v6,7,8…
Have we lost ability to import projectsfrom other Dev’s completely ?

I already did and their suggestions did not work. Why the project backed up with SC 9.9 cannot be imported into SC v9.12 ???
