Problems connecting with MS Sql Databasee

Good afternoon;

I am getting this error when I am trying to connect to a Sql database.

“The PHP extension mssql must be enabled to access this database.”

I log into SQL Server using Windows authentication, how should I connect properly?

I’m not sure, but enabling mssql extensions in php.ini might solve it?
