Quick Search Button in SC ver. 5.1

Hi,

I just upgraded my SC version to 5.1. Now, I tried this feature QUICK SEARCH in a grid. My concern is just that the Quick Search BUTTON is not being displayed in my grid. Whenever I search something in the quick search textbox then hit the Enter in the keyboard, nothing has been filtered. I think its the BUTTON of Quick Search that triggers the filtering of records.

How can I make the Quick Search Button visible?

Have you added it in the “Toolbar” ?

Yes I did, but unfortunately the button is not visible…,only the quick search textbox

I had added it in the toolbar and visible…! but it is not giving right output after filtering conditions…?

I experienced the same thing on the Demo… output was not correct… only worked on 1 field that had text only.

Hitting ‘enter’ does not work, you have to click the quick search button:
There is no Clear Filter button.

This needs from real work … very quirky.

The searching is CASE SENSITIVE!! I tried searching the word ‘BEV’ in the category field then all BEVERAGES Category appear, but then when I changed the search to the word ‘bev’, no records were displayed…

Hope they’ll fix this asap.

I just updated my SC, now the QUICK SEARCH button is visible and i think the search is filtering correctly. :slight_smile:
