Hi there.

How can I create a quick search using the search application that works just like the one that is in the Grid application?

the idea is to be able to have a single field that searches on multiple fields but does not show the grid with all the records.

alternatively, is there any way I can use the grid application and hide the grid on load? so once I load the page it only displays the search function and once the search is performed it retrieves the records

You can choose on your grid settings to start as a search instead of grid directly

But that search is different from the search I get in the grid option.
I want to start the search with a field that searches in all the searchable fields instead of manually set each field to match certain criteria.
