I have Red Hat Linux Enterprise 8 and Scriptcase 9.4 is installed but I have a problem connecting to mysql. I have tried setting up new user for authenication but not luck.
can’t get connected remotely for support.
Are you running Scritpcase on the RHL as well? or on a (windows) client? What error message do you get? Can’t connect to or invalid credentials?
Could be anything from firewalls, to database client. Hard to tell…

here is some e-mail with scriptcase support on the error I get. The images show screen shots that mysql is running and the error says method of authentication not supported :
