I am somewhat of a novice with Scriptcase and have used it for several years. I have a project that i would like to create using Scriptcase 9 that I am having difficulty with. I have a MS SQL database that is a door access system which controls and monitors all the doors at each building. There are several building each with 10-15 floors. I want to be able to create a web front end that will allow a user to be able to select a particular building from a drop down list which is populated from the database table. This part I have completed. I want the user to select a date range for the search and then pass this to a grid which will display the facility location, door, user who accessed the door along with the date and time of access. I have completed the grid view using a SQL query with static data for building location and date range. I have the SQL script to be able query the database. I think I need guidance on whether to use global variables or link to pass with arguments from the From application to the Grid application.
