A list of 100% necessary features to SC.
- The possibility of opening a 2nd project, in read-only mode, to be able to copy or consult code or features. It is somewhat limiting, during development, having to close a project, open, copy, close, reopen, paste …
- Autocomplete, and IA in code editor. This is very, very poor… Or integrate with VS Code. The IDE of SC, it is a path of no return, and very limited. I would think of an independent ide/framework (like Eclipse or Android Studio)
- Option to delete themes, and templates… and not reinstall. They should be provided as separate packages. In any app, or backup, there are many megabytes of things that are useless… This affects performance, and adds absolutely nothing.
The features that will be added to version 9.12 are not encouraging. There are much more necessary things, which would make development in SC much more agile. Among the flaws, the slowness of the IDE, the problems inherent to the intertwined architecture of SC, SC is increasingly frustrating. It no longer excites…
Please spend less money on spamming and harassing sales, and more on developing the features that can make SC a leading product. They are plummeting, and they don’t open their eyes…
