During the previews, I got the impression SC9 would enable true responsive menus that become vertical and minimized on a mobile but that does not seem to be the case. Can someone put me right on this?
In a way that was already possible with SC 8, but you need to use the responsive themes and set the mobile menu options right. But it’s easy to overlook as it’s under a tab.
Hi Albert,
Was not aware of this: wow. Can you give more details?
I got by by maintaining 2 menus for my app: vertical and horizontal. When user logs in, app detects if mobile user agent and goes for the vertical menu and menu. A responsive single menu would be much more efficient to maintain.
Well it’s a bit fiddling. If you go to menu application -> settings then you have a mobile tab. It allows to to set it responsive in a way that your menu will go to the three stripes if the space is not enough.
which totally sucks! Oh so does the entire menu still with v9, sucks monkeys and still the worst possible menu creator, designed back in the 70s.
I hate the friggin menu with SC, its the worst thing about the entire platform. I so wish they would replace it with something better, maybe in version 22 with another 10k bugs on release.
Dear all,
Anyone using this tool https://www.gdmenus.camilamoreira.com.br/site/ ?.

if only Camila Moreira translates his portuguesse site and software to english they could have a great and rapid growing business.
