Restore from source code

Hello, I am a new member from Germany.

Unfortunately, my project has been lost and I would like to restore it.

I have no backups
It’s a long-ago project.

The version at the time was sc6!

Is there a way to restore the applications or the project from the source code?
And is it best to upgrade it right away or in a second step to sc9?

Maybe someone can help me.

Unfortunately you cannot. But if you have a lot of custom code, you can locate that and more-or-less use it. But I 'm afraid that you have to rebuild.
