i ran a fresh install of scriptcase and upgraded to version 9.7.006.
I am trying to import the backup of the projects done with version 9.7.002 but it stops every time at 2.85% (applicationcontrol).
Is there any way to recover projects?

You can start from a repository database backup.
Version 9.7.002 was trial or licensed?
It’s licensed, but what do you mean repository database backup?
If licensed you can update the version while keeping all your projects.
The repository database database is where all apps are stored.
Normally it is a sqlite file but in my case i chose a mysql database. You can do this during installation.
If you work as a single user, please keep sqlite.
We are 6 developers with the Enterprise version and we preferred mysql.

in fact I have always updated scriptcase automatically from version 7 onwards and apart from various bugs in the new versions I have never had unsolvable problems.
This time, however, updating from version 9.7.002 the interface always crashed when performing the fixing.
Checking the logs I saw that it stopped processing the file 180.fixFormToolbarMobile.php and so in order to reopen the interface I deleted the file.
Now I can enter without problems but I don’t know if deleting that file could create problems in the future and for safety I wanted to do a clean installation.
Unfortunately, this solution also presents problems since the restore procedure does not work.
Have you tried updating again?
During the installation, every single file is checked and it should bring back what is missing.
I tried again at this time and it re-downloaded the file
180.fixFormToolbarMobile.php, I log out but when I log in again the logo and the message “Running version fixes patches, please wait” appears and it crashes.
was it a big project? i had issues due to the server resources, but after upshifting the import went smooth.
You can always remove sctiptcase dev and go manual instal of the last version.

the backup consists of 27 projects, at least 3 of which are large, the backup file is 525MB.
The server is used almost exclusively for scriptcase and the installation on this server is not new, it was done at least 2 years ago.
I can’t figure out how to solve it but it is starting to be urgent to find a solution, it would be nice if someone from NetMake would respond with some solution to solve the block during the fix or to be able to restore the projects in the new installation.
Whenever there is an update we have to spend a lot of time checking for bugs.
Today version 9.7.007 was released, updating the problem was solved.
