Despite SC spending lots of time fixing the horrible formatting of the Save grid feature… its still barely useable.
Despite various suggestions over the last 4 to 5 YEARS, the developers have chosen to ignore a fundamental flaw… the fact that anyone can delete or change any saved reports they have access to.
It means that any use of the ‘public’ option causes massive confusion in the user community… especially when users accidentally edit or change a public report. SO… NADA on the use of a public option
Any other rule than [usr_login] is also useless, since anyone can simply edit and delete.
It only works for [usr_login] because thats the behaviour you want… i.e. a user can do what they want with their own reports.
Once again… can SC think about adding proper save/edit/delete permissions on these saved reports otherwise you continue to waste valuable developer time for functionality that cannot be used.

PS its not that hard… I mocked up a javascript solution which took the standard screens and removed the delete option… it was less than 20 lines, but it is not practical to do it on every grid and/or after every code regeneration.
