I wish SC is designed and build towards expanding its capability by adding new components. This will allow more advanced developers and those who want to make extra $$, build extra components which could be either free or commercial. Many companies who went this path were very successful.
I work for over 20 years with the company which allows to build and add 3rd party tools and that made their product shine and be one of the best on the market (ohh, by the way it is called CLARION).

well, I think that there are tons of requests in you SUGGESTION section of this forum. One that I could think of is a formula builder, which could be build similar way the SQL query builder is done. But keep in mind that the whole idea is to make SC open enough to let users build their components, add it to SC library and share it. Doing so will make SC grow (by itself), but perhaps it would require some reinvention, some API kits, component manager etc. I’m not sure, because I don’t know SC internals.

you want it fast! do this:
in a few months you will have a great repository
you can do similar thing asking people for creating example documents, tutorials etc.
obviously the more docs, examples etc. the bigger your userbase and more potential you have for new clients
