SC generated Apps do not fit on iOS screen and will not scroll

When I access my SC generated website using Safari on my iPad Mini, I only see that portion of the page that fits on the screen. There is no ability to scale (zoom in or out) or to scroll down or across to the right. Since a lot of browsers on iOS use the WebKit, they all have the same issue (yes, I tried several). No issues using Safari on MacOS or any browsers (that I have tried) on Windows

I have seen a few old posts with these symptoms (for example, up to 6 years ago), but they seem to indicate issues have been fixed.

This seems quite fundamental. Am I missing something basic here? Are there options I am supposed to turn on to make the apps more responsive on iOS?

Not sure if it makes a difference, but my solution consists of around 30 apps and uses a menu app that presents a tree menu down the left-hand side. Does this make a difference to the responsiveness of the solution?

FWIW, it makes no difference if I run the app in Mobile or Website mode, or in portrait or landscape orientation. No scrolling. Period.

Any ideas?

This is because the SC not a mobile first design. I also asking this questions every years I renew my license but the answer also same. WORKING ON IT. It?s seems need take a decade to solve this problem. So friend, hold on and just wait…sigh!

Wow. Begs the question, why even bother having mobile menu and toolbar options if the basic page display does not work on widely used tablets. Looks like I need to start looking at an alternative tool - I need this capability within about 3 months and I cannot rely on the team delivering this capability in any given timeframe.

I dealt with the same issue. Works fine on everything but iOS. After months of research I found it’s not a Scriptcase issue it’s iOS. They have issues with iframes.
The treeview menu loads your info in iframes. When I converted my treeview menus to regular menus it worked like a charm in iOS. If you research iOS and not scrolling this is an issue they have had for years and don’t plan on doing anything about it. Good luck.

Thank you for your note, Lisa C. I can report that I have had the same experience. When I converted the menu to “regular” horizontal menu, the problem was resolved. Thanks for the tip.

Anyone else reading this should note (and SC should make it very clear) that use of the tree control for the menu should be RESTRICTED from use with iOS devices unless it is known that the form/page size will fit within the screen real-estate offered by the device that are planned for use (noting that iOS devices differ in the resolution offered - pixels X pixels). The tree menu disables scrolling on iOS devices.
