SC LOGIN problem

I’m dealing with the problem like:

The limit of simultaneous connections of this license has been reached. Please try again later.

There is only one PC and one user! Any idea why this is happening ? Is it a bug ?
THis happened to me today 3 times.

Re: SC LOGIN problem

Hello,

That happens because SC saves your session each time you login. It may have happened that even though you closed SC, your session was still active when you tried to log on SC again.

well, I would rather see how can I fix it ? I cannot login to SC with this account anymore!

Re: SC LOGIN problem

Hello,

Is it SC 5 or 6? For both you can clear your browser cache and cookies, then try logging in again.

Re: SC LOGIN problem

  • it is SC6 + Firefox v15.01
  • clearing the browser cache/history does not help

Re: SC LOGIN problem

Do you have a hidden FF process in your application list? I too have this problem sometimes, but generally SC asks to logout the other user. But FF sometimes ‘hangs’ in my active applications list (ctr-alt-del -> processes). If that’s the case then kill it.

As Mr. Drent stated… when you try to login again, does SC asks you to logout the “current” user logged?

Additionally to prevent it, instead of closing SC tab, always logout and then close the window.
