sc_lookup does not work in menu events

Contrary to advice in the help file, sc_lookup does not work for me in menu applications, i.e. code generation fails with error ():

thinking it was something I was doing. However, I have since confirmed that sc_lookup works as described in all other applications EXCEPT menus.

I have used the macro: sc_select(dataset, “SQL Command”, “Connection”) and work fine.

Not for me. Tried everything I could think of. I finished up kludging it in another application that loads before the menu. But I’m having all sorts of issues with SC9, so I think I’ll stick with 8.1
