I don’t think that’s true, or at least I hope it’s not true.
Though many words are in English, the install, the examples, etc are all not in English.
Maybe they have some more changes to make first.

The good things is that some bugs will be worked out since the Brazil Site users will be get it first. The U.S. copy will include those initial bug fixes.

yes, you don’t want to install the International version and then do an update… It wants to install over 4000 changes.
I am thinking it’s confused because I also have v4 on the same machine.
I cancelled out of it, but I suspect some people may not… Have to see if it goofs anything up

Great…! Finally I could able to download SC v5. Installed changed the Language to US enlish,Works fine…! The Manual is not in English…! Anyway… I only installed as 20 days trial till they releases with bug fixes and Lincese updates.

This is correct. The help files are Portuguese. SC5 supports English, but all the other files are not. You will have to wait for the full International release to get the English help.

Let me try to clarify what I was told by support.
Brazilian version was released 2 days ago (Portuguese Version)
The official International Version (All other Languages, including US) will be released next week.
In reality, the trial of SC5 released the other day will display english, but all the help files, examples and website are still in Portuguese.

I had found the Help file not in English, and I had tried to updated the SC v5 using Options->Update-> Script case update. there it found “Updates found:3768” to update , After applying the Help file is missing…!
I also tried to covert some of the old projects that i had done with V4 using Tools->convert->Convert(V4-V5) converted sucessfuly. But There are some bugs is V5. I am goiung to post the bung In SC5 Bugs section.

Scott is right, we are trying to catch the initial bugs with brazilian users, so we will release the international version with all those bugs fixeds.
For while do not use “Scriptcase Update” in brazilian SC5. Wait for international version.

dhanam4, no there is no time line, this is the reason for it is only a statement and not an announcement … ^^
But understandable, that they want to get first feedback in their own language. I think, this will help the
international users as well

Nobody wants to create a production application in a first release of a tool (at least I won’t).
I’ll keep developing my applications in V4 and will only migrate it to V5 when I’m absolutely sure all major issues/bugs have been resolved. Hopefully somewhere around february 2010.
