I have migrated SC7 to SC8 and now the forms are not getting generated. Grids generation are OK. If I generate whole applications, its just generate grids but not forms.
That’s weird. Does it refuse if you select the form itself and then generate? Check if the forms own a connection and / or theme. If not go to express edit and apply connection and theme to all apps. Then try again.
Yes, it refuse to generate while the form is open or by selecting and clicking generate button. Even I have just created new form and and clicked generate, its keep saying ‘generating’ and does nothing.

Yes, express edit connection and theme. didn’t work. neither creating new form and compilation work. But new grid compilation is working.
Then it looks like there went something wrong with the installation of 8, or with the migration. If possible I would remove the 8 instance and re-install, then convert again. Hope that helps.
