Security on Calendar

I want a group of users NOT to be able to edit calendar events. They should only be able to view them.

I know I can control this on the calendar’s editing form, but all users seem to be able to drag events to another date/ time. How can I prevent that?

Re: Security on Calendar

yes, would be nice to ha a “viev only” mode.

Does anybody know how to do this?

I subscribe to the same query

Re: Security on Calendar

You can’t “block” the drag/drop option yet.
But you can control the user to enter in calendar, like in this sample.

Re: Security on Calendar

I will recomend this to our dev team.

Re: Security on Calendar

Has there been any progress in the calendar?

I mean i am also in need of calendar where i can restrict a usergroup to change the events.
unable to control drag n’ drop is the most annoying, for the calendar form i could use sc_apl_conf to disable the update, insert and so on…

Re: Security on Calendar

ScriptCase team should rule on user need, as expressed by m ishwor

any way to control drag n’ drop?

not that I am aware of
That is why I started using a different calendar app in Scriptcase
It’s better too cause I can have multiple event not just one per calendar
