Security stopped working

Spent a lot of time setting up the security application and apparently I’ve changed something that has stopped security from working. If I login as a user who has minimal security, I can see everything … except the buttons to add or update a form. I can’t change any data … because the buttons aren’t there to save any changes … but my expectation is that I won’t even be able to access those forms/grids that I should not have access to and shouldn’t even see them on the menu.

I have recreated everything from scratch and still have the problem. So I deleted the project and started over with the sample security application - and have the same issue.

Has anyone else had this issue?

hi,

from options then my Scriptcase

click Enable Use of Security

Then save

run your login form

everything should work fine agian

Have you setup all the rights for the users and/or roles? Are all apps in your secuity table (synchronize if necessary)

Glad to know you fix your problem.

Also as Mr. Albert say you have to synchronize applications, if you create a new application to assign the rights to each user as you want
