[SOLVED] After the latest release, scriptcase hangs

When I click the “Run Project” button, if there is some app to be recompiled, scriptcase shows “Generating source-code
Checking libraries…”

but everything hangs, no app recompiling, no project start up.

I have to recompile manually every outdated app.

Please fix as soon as possible.

Are you using Egge?

Yes. But everything was fine before the latest scriptcase update …

Did you update Windows too?

Did you try in another browser like Chrome?

Try this.
It is a new config. you must disable on Windows

To disable SmartScreen in Windows 11, open the Windows Security app, navigate to App & browser control > Reputation-based protection settings, and toggle off “Check apps and files”. This disables warnings for unrecognized apps, files, and Microsoft Edge downloads.

Method 1: Using Windows Security (Recommended)

This is the standard method for disabling SmartScreen for files, apps, and Edge.

  1. Click the Start menu, type Windows Security, and open the app.
  2. Select App & browser control in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Reputation-based protection settings under the “Reputation-based protection” section.
  4. Toggle Off the following:
  • Check apps and files (for files and apps).
  • SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge (for web browsing).
  • Potentially unwanted app blocking (optional, but recommended if you are installing tools that get flagged).
  1. Click “Yes” on the User Account Control prompt.
