[SOLVED]editing PHP code inside SC

When I edit my PHP code within SC, sometimes he needs to adjust the line numbers first before I can edit any code. The result is, that when I place the cursor somewhere and press ENTER for example, he suddenly changes the cursor position. This issue screws up the whole code, because u never know where SC adjusted those changes. Not very handy.

using FirefFox latest

Re: editing PHP code inside SC

This seems to be a new feature in SC6 ;-). The code editor in 5.2 won’t do that. This is no problem of the used browser. I use IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Re: editing PHP code inside SC

Hello @ Dev

Looks like this little bug has been fixed for now.

Just one big problem with the current fix:

I can’t select any code inside PHP window (copy & paste failse). Instead I can just click inside the window, press mouse button and then SC just drags and drops some part of the code somewhere else or deletes code. Can’t work like that inside SC!!! I have to use Notepad for now!!!

Just tested some more…looks like the blue code highlighting is just missing, while I try to select the code! Using Firefox latest and SC6 (updated today)
