[SOLVED] Latest version 9.11.000(3) breaks refined search

After updating to 9.11.000(3) this morning… several of my grids with refined search are broken.
If you try to apply a refined search option on the grid you are left with a “Processing…” message that never goes away.

This happens in development AND production even after deploying all libraries again.
Restoring a previous version of a grid does not resolve this.
Re-creating the grid does not resolve this.

I tried to replicate this behavior in my environment but didn’t get the same issue. In fact, it worked as expected.

Could you send me more information such as the connection type, PHP version, and if these refined searches are being done with a large amount of data to process?

PHP Version 8.1
The amount of data doesn’t matter it wont work on very large grids or small grids.

I am using Amazon Lightsail to host my Scriptcase, both development and production on the same server.
I spun up an instance of my server from yesterday BEFORE the update and the refined searches all work, both in Dev (port 8092) and production when deployed. I was even able to deploy to ZIP file the same grid using the previous version 9.10.023(27) and extract it to my live production server overwriting the broken grid and it worked!

So from what I can tell the issue is entirely with the latest version 9.11.000(3).

Thank you for the email… unfortunately… I “fixed” the issue by deploying from an older version so when your support department went to look at the link I sent it was working.

I have since deployed a copy of one of the broken grids by copying it to a new name and deploying it. I sent the link to support just now.

I have users on the system daily and I needed a fast solution to get them working again… thats why I replaced the broken one with a previous version.

I have a case and am working with Scriptcase Support on this… I am unable to publish any existing grids that have refined search on them from the new version… if I do, then refined search stops working and I just get the spinning “Processing…” message even though in the background you can see that the search was applied.
Using the exact same application if generate and or deploy from the previous version… it works.
I have two Development Servers right now because of this.

Don’t use full pagination in the grid – that’ll fix the problem![SCAR fix|690x451]

I am not facing the issue regarding refined search in grid application after generating the app using SC 9.11

Try using a ‘Total o Scroll infinite’ in the grid and you’ll see the problem.

As mentioned by the @Leandro_Monserrat above, the problem occurs when the grid pagination is set to “Total”.

The problem has already been reported and as soon as there is an update on it, we will be providing feedback through this thread.
