[SOLVED] Multiple lines text (SC7 & Mysql)

In the db I have created a field of type “tinyblob” - this is used for addresses
When entering info directly into the database I can use Control+enter to start a new line ie the info displays as

Box 123456
city
country

In SC7 using a FORM and setting the field to Multiple lines text, existing info is displayed correctly, BUT when entering data I cannot start a new line at any point

Any advice?

Under fields settings there is a setting for the number of lines that apply to that field

I had a problem very similar to this one about a year ago with SC6. Setting the number of lines solved my problem also. Just wanted to see if maybe there was something else amiss…
